They were married at Dorchester Mass and moved to Lyme, New London, CT in 1690.

Individual Note: Born June 22, 1753 in Lyme, Connecticut, Eleaser elected to follow in his father's footsteps and become a physician. He enlisted in the Revolutionary War from Lyme, Connecticut and served from April 1, 1776 until Dec. 31, 1776 in the Company of which his brother, Samuel Mather, was captain.
After the war he lived for a while in Vermont. Then, at the age of 69, he uprooted his life to move to Portage (now Summit) County, Ohio to become Boston Township's first doctor. The original house that he lived in until his death is still standing.

Date of death between 1818 & 1824. Collected a pension for serving nine months or more in the Continental Army as a Private. They resided in the "Grassey Hill" district or parish of Hamburg Town of Lyme. They had a large farm. We do not know the exact date of his death. It was some time between 1818 and 1824, and he was living in 1818 and was an United States pensioner under the act of Congress, passed in that Year. He having served "nine months or more" as a private in a Connecticut Regiment during the Revolutionary War.

Seth Brockway
Seth was a sea Capt. He and Lucy lived at Lyme (Hamburg) CT. They are buried at Hamburg Conn in the Congregational Church Cemetery.

Joshua Harvey Ninth Generation
Joshua Like his brother was a farmer and lived all his life at Lyme. His home like his brother's was in North Society or as it was later called North Lyme and is now the village of Hamburg in the town of Lyme. Besides his large farm in North Lyme he was an even large land owner in other sections of Lyme. Portions of these lands were conveyed to his daughter, and some to his grandchildren in later years of his life. His name is in the list of Church members of the Third or North Society of Lyme, prepared by the newly installed pastor, Oct 27 1787. He married on Nov 17 1751. See Congregational Church Old Lyme.

Zechariah Sill Third Generation
Zachariah was a farmer and a large land owner in North Lyme. He and the family appear to have been members of the Congregational Church of which rev Jonathan Parsons was paster.
The lands of the two brothers lay north of Mill Brook.

to 695 Hanna Street. Robert retired from the Detroit Edison Company
Retired 1 May 1979.
