Charles Arends was born on October 26, 1845 in Missouri to Theodore
Ferdinand Arends and Mary Hall. His wife Eveline Murphy was born January 9,
1847. Charles died June 18, 1913 and Eveline July 29, 1918 both buried in
Geneseo, Illinois. They had nine children, six of these died in early
childhood. No info on these. The other three are Franklin Warren , James
Lewis and Cordelia. Franklin Warren was born September 17, 1873 Mason
Illinois. He married Sarah Ellen Abbott June 13, 1897 in Canton, Illinois.
They had two children Elma Pearl and Ethel May. Franklin died September 24,
1951. Sarah died June 6, 1952. Both are buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo,
Illinois.
James Lewis was born December 1, 1879 in Canton, Illinois He married Bertha
Davis in 1899 near Canton, Illinois. Bertha wa born March 26, 1883. They had
the following childrenLewis Edward, Wesley Edgar, Emmert Lea, Jessied June.
James died December 4, 1963 in Newton Iowa Buried in Knoxville Iowa. Bertha
died November 11, 1931 in Newton, Iowa. Cordelia was born July 1, 1882 in
Fulton County Illinois Cordelia married James Hufford on September 28, 1899.
James was born March 8, 1876. They had six children: Charles Preston, Lida
Bell, Mary Eveline, Harry Edgar, Bessie Marie, Floyd James and Odetta
Irene..
