The U.S. Catholic Historical Society (USCHS) has developed a virtual site of the U.S. Catholic Documentary Heritage Project (USCDHP). The aim is to provide an online guide to repositories and collections of primary sources documenting the history of Catholicism in the United States.
The US Catholic Heritage Documentary Project provides basic information on Catholic archival repositories and collections on the Internet through The United States Catholic Historical Society and with the assistance of Catholic Online.
Currently, this database consists of 201 Catholic archival institutions. This data is updated monthly as new information is received from other repositories.
