Caleb (1687-1772)
Caleb was a yeoman and substantial land holder at Cutchogue and Acquabogue, Long Island. When he moved with his family to what is now Chester Township, Morris County, New Jersey he acquired “1783 acres of land in Roxbury township…”
CALEB4 HORTON (BARNABAS3, CALEB2, BARNABAS1)1,2 was born December 22, 1687 in Southold, Suffolk County, NY3, and died August 06, 1772 in Roxbury (now Chester), NJ. He married PHEBE TERRY3 December 10, 1714 in Riverhead, Suffolk County, NY. She was born June 05, 16904, and died December 24, 1776. They are both buried in the Chester Congregational Church Yard in Morris County, NJ
