Wells Family Cemetery
Calverton, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York

    This cemetery is located north of the Peconic River on the South-East end of the NW-SE runway of the Grumman facility. There is an indenture in the fence around the Grumman facility for the cemetery. It is about 150 feet north of the west end of River Road near the intersection with Connecticut Avenue. The stones were copied by Leigh Phillips and Elbert Carter during the summer of 1970.

5.   PRUDENCE RAYNOR, wife of CLINTON RAYNOR, b. 6 Nov. 1820 d. 5 Oct. 1839. ( Footstone P.R.) Note: She was a WELLS. He son of JOSEPH & PHEBE (ROBINSON ) RAYNOR. He is buried in the Brookfield Cemetery, Manorville, NY (# 219)

6.   CHARLOT BELINDA EDWARDS, daughter of BENJAMIN J. & JULIA L. EDWARDS, d. 4 Aug. 1863 age 5 months 13 days.
