This burial ground is located north of Mill Road at the point where it crosses the Main Line of the LIRR in Manorville. All distances are very rough but it is about 400 yards down the railroad tracks in a northerly direction and then about 250 yards in a northwest direction. The stones were copied in 1956 by E. N. Carter and the map was drawn in May 1974 by E. N. Carter and L. Phillips. (f.s. means foot stone; wss means white sandstone) 1. JAMES M. ROBINSON / died / June 9, 1874 / AE 64 ys. 8 mo. / & 13 ds. // (f.s. J.M.R.; wss) (Note: Stone was broken off and laying face up.) 2. MARY M. / wife of JAMES M. ROBINSON / died / Sept. 9, 1861 / AE 49 ys. 10 mo. / & 13 ds. // (f.s. M.M.R.; wss) (Note: Stone was broken in half and laying face up. The following verse was on the stone) And I heard a voice from Hea- ven saying unto me. Write bless- ed are the dead which die in the Lord from hence forth, yea saith the spirit, that they may rest from their labors: and their works do follow them. Rev. XIV 13 (Stone signed) G. HILL 3.
