Robinson Family Cemetery
North of Hot Water Street - Manorville, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York

    The cemetery is located about 340 feet north of Hot Water Street or Nill Street and west of Hot Water and Cranberry ponds. It was copied on June 21, 1970 by Elbert N. Carter and compared with what was copied in 1964 by Leigh Phillips. Two stones were missing in 1970 but their foot stones were still there. The map showing the location of the stones was made by Leigh Phillips. (f.s. means foot stone)

1.   JEMIMA ROBINSON, wife of DAVID ROBINSON. d. April 23, 1855, age 81 years 2 months.

2.   DAVID ROBINSON d. April 8, 1857 age 88 years 6 months. (f.s. D.R.)

3.   Two foot stones — D.R. and H.R. (See # 22 & 23 as they belong to the two stones that were there in 1964 but not in 1970)

4.   Two local rocks loose on the ground, possible grave site.

5.   CLARKE ROBINSON, son of JONATHAN & PHEBE ROBINSON, D. Oct. 18, 1836 age 5 years.

6.   JANE A. ROBINSON, daughter of JONATHAN & PHEBE ROBINSON, D. Sept. 12, 1843 or 1848 age 1 year 3 months 20 days.

7.   MARY E. ROBINSON, daughter of JONATHAN & PHEBE ROBINSON, d. Sept. 24, 1843 age 3 years 2 months 24 days.

8.   HANNAH ANN TURNER, daughter of Capt. DAVID & HANNAH TURNER, d. Feb. 24, 1832 age 4 years 5 months 3 days.

9, 10, and 11. Three mounds of dirt that appear to be grave sites.

12.   ROBINSON DAYTON, son of ELAEAZER & ELIZABETH DAYTON, d. sept. 25, 1832 age 4 years 6 months 20 days.

13.   THEODORE DAYTON, son of ELAEAZER & ELIZABETH DAYTON, d. Sept. 1 or 4, 1847   age 1 year 1 month 18 days.

14.   IZANNAH DAYTON, daughter of JOSEPH & JEMIMA DAYTON, d. Oct. 9, 1841 age 9 years 6 months 10 days.
15.   JEMIMA DAYTON, wife of JOSEPH DAYTON, d. Sep. 14, 1854 age 50 years 5 months 9 days. (f.s. J.D.)

16.   JOSEPH T. DAYTON,   d. Nov. 12, 1856 age 30 years (possibly 50) 8 months 17 days. (f.s. J.T.D.)

17.   A depression in the ground, possible grave site.

18.   MARY ROBINSON, daughter of DAVID & CAROLINE ROBINSON, b. Aug. 15, 1845 d. Sept. 6, 1847   age 2 years 22 days.

19.   THEODORE D. ROBINSON, son of DAVID & CAROLINE ROBINSON, b. March 1, 1849   d. April 1, 1849.

20.   CAROLINE ROBINSON, wife of DAVID ROBINSON, b. Feb. 1, 1823 d. Dec. 18, 1849 age 26 years 10 months 17 days.

21.   NORTON L. ROBINSON, son of JONATHAN & JEMIMA E. ROBINSON, d. Sept. 23 (or 25), age 2 years 29 days.

22.   DAVID ROBINSON, Jr. d. Jan. 28, 1845 age 3 years 6 months 29 days.. (f.s. D.R.) (This stone was there in 1964 but missing in 1970)

23.   HENRY ROBINSON, son of JONATHAN & PHEBE ROBINSON, d. Aug. 26, 1820, age 2 days . (f.s. H.R.). (This stone was there in 1964 but missing in 1970)
