If you want to work with IBM Power
Systems, the best way to prove to potential employers that you have the
appropriate technical skills is to become IBM certified. IBM offers 15
certification exams that lead to certification and will allow you to
demonstrate your knowledge of IBM Power Systems.
The C4040-103 AIX 6.1 Basic Operations certification exam contains 81
questions and requires you to earn a score of at least 65% in order to pass. If
you are successful, you will be eligible for the IBM Certified Operator - AIX
6.1 Basic Operations certification. If you are interested in earning either the
IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - Power Systems with AIX v3
certification or the IBM Certified Systems Expert - Enterprise Technical
Support for AIX and Linux -v2 certification, you must obtain a passing score of
62% or better on the C4040-108 Enterprise Technical Support for AIX and Linux
-v2 certification exam.
