Elwood Road Cemetery

Called "Plot at Elwood, opposite Old Store" by Mrs. Scudder, this tiny cemetery had no remaining stones in 1990 according to the "Huntington Historic Cemeteries" booklet. The cemetery is located at the north-east corner of Elwood Road and Lorijean Lane, just south of the junction of Elwood Road and Clay Pitts Road. Although no stones now remain, this cemetery is a Town of Huntington Local Historic Site. With thanks to the memory of Mrs. Scudder for all the work she did in her time, we have a list of burials at this cemetery.
