Blatchley Cemetery

A small farm cemetery, the "Blatchley Plot" was located on the Duryea Farm in the Elwood section of the Town of Huntington when Mrs. Nellie R. Scudder made her inventory on 26 August 1919. It is presently found on South Rodsfield Court, just south-east of Fieldway Court, in Elwood. This small cemetery is now a Town of Huntington Local Historic Site. The following information was submitted by David Roberts, copied from the "Scudder Collection of Long Island Genealogical Records," available at the Huntington Historical Society or on L. D.
